The Order of Chartered Accountants of Côte d’Ivoire is the main structure that organizes and animates the accounting profession in Côte d’Ivoire. Its actions aim to improve the quality of accounting and financial information as well as to reinforce the capacities of its members in order to contribute to the growth of economic activities. It is thus a key actor of the economic and financial development of the Ivory Coast, either as a third of confidence, council or accompaniment of the leaders of the companies whatever their size. It is in this dynamic that the Order of Chartered Accountants of Côte d’Ivoire is committed to organizing the 7th edition of the African Congress of Accountants (ACOA) in partnership with the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA). The objective is to promote the development of the African continent through the examination of relevant topics and the evolution of the role of the accounting profession in Africa. This congress also provides a unique opportunity for accounting and finance professionals to meet and interact at a high personal level. It is therefore with a strong ambition that we have applied with the frank support of the Ivorian government through the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Adama Coulibaly. And it is especially with joy that we received the decision of the selection of the candidature of the Ivory Coast to host the 7th congress of the PAFA. Côte d’Ivoire will be the first country in Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa to host the ACOA. This recognition will contribute to accelerate the development of the profession in the French-speaking area and throughout Africa in general.
The year 2023 will be the year of Côte d’Ivoire as the African capital of accounting and finance with the reception of nearly 2,000 delegates from all over the world.
Welcome to the beautiful capital of Côte d’Ivoire.
