The African Congress of Accountants (ACOA) is a major event of the Pan African Federation of Accountants (PAFA). It is organized every two years by a PAFA member and brings together various stakeholders interested in Africa’s development to discuss relevant topics related to the role of finance and accounting professionals in Africa’s development. The previous five conferences were held in Kenya, Ghana, Mauritius, Uganda, and Morocco, each attracting more than 1,500 delegates from Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe, and dozens of speakers who facilitated powerful dialogue and produced tangible results.
Technology has become indispensable in all sectors and spheres of society, from retail, manufacturing, and mining to advocacy, and poses challenges and opportunities not only in production but also in consumption as it changes the way we live and interpret the world, our beliefs, values, and inspirations.
