Mr. Marcellin ZUNON is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce d’Abidjan (ESCA), Chartered Accountant registered with the Ordre des Experts-Comptables de Côte d’Ivoire (OECCI). He began his career at EY in 1997 where he served as Technical Director (Professional Practice Director – PPD) of all EY offices in French-speaking Sub-Saharan Africa (FSSA) before joining Mondon Conseil International. He has over 20 years of professional experience in auditing and consulting. He heads the Accounting and Financial Consulting Department of Mondon Conseil International. As such, he has conducted several missions of accounting, financial, legal and tax advice. He has also conducted several diagnostic missions and assistance in the implementation of reforms in accounting law and corporate law. In particular, he led the diagnostic and implementation assistance services of the revised SYSCOA at EY. Marcellin actively participated in the reform works of SYSCOHADA: Kinshasa Experts’ workshop for the validation of the SYSCOHADA draft and national workshop for the validation of the SYSCOHADA preliminary draft. He is the Secretary General of the CNCDGI-Private Sector Working Group set up by the Government of Côte d’Ivoire to evaluate the financial and fiscal implications of the revised SYSCOHADA. He is the Chairman of the Technical Committee of the OECCI, member of the National Accounting Council of Côte d’Ivoire (CNC-CI) and of the Banking Accounting Regulation Committee of the West African Committee for Banking and Financial Organization and Standardization (BCEAOUEMOA). He is also a member of the « Public Sector » Committee of the Ordre des Experts-Comptables de France.
