Côte d’Ivoire has always been a hub and a platform for major continental and international meetings. This year 2022 has witnessed more than a dozen large-scale meetings including the CEO Forum, the meeting of the employers of French-speaking countries, the consultative group for the mobilization of resources of the NDP, the Business Forum EU – ECOWAS. Next year, our country will host the great mass of continental soccer, the CAN 2023. It is therefore with pleasure that the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the supervisory ministry of the Order of Chartered Accountants, has supported the candidacy of our Order to organize the 7th Congress of the Pan African Federation of Chartered Accountants (PAFA) called ACOA 2023. As usual, the Ivorian government stands by the Order of Chartered Accountants of Côte d’Ivoire to make the ACOA 2023 a full success for all delegates coming from 54 African countries and from all over the world to experience the Ivorian AKWABA, in a great fervor that will be offered by the first country of French-speaking sub-Saharan Africa to host such a meeting of continental accountants. The theme of this 7th congress on the structural transformation of our economies, fits perfectly with the program of the president of the Ivorian republic, his Excellency, Alassane Ouattara, « a united Ivory Coast » and, quite naturally, the chartered accountants have a key role to play in this transformation. It is conscious of this role of the accounting profession at the national and international level that the Ivorian government under the leadership of its Prime Minister brings its support without question to the holding of this great continental meeting that is the ACOA 2023.
Akwaba, congressmen from all horizons, on the Ivorian land!
